Hello everybody! The Baltic States Tree Climbing Championship will take place at Luua Forestry school, Estonia, on the 14th and 15th of June, 2024. We invite tree climbers from countries around the Baltic Sea and beyond to compete in our event. With its historic park, magnificent trees and supporting facilities, Luua is a particularly suitable venue for the tree climbing competition.
Schedule of Events
Thursday, June 13, at 12.00 - 18.00 gearcheck, walkthrough;
Friday, June 14, at 07.00: breakfast, 8:30-18:00: preliminary events - Work Climb, Aerial Rescue, Throwline, Belayed Speed Climb, Ascent event;
Saturday, June 15, at 9:00-14:00: Masters’ Challenge.
Students’ Competition
To introduce the excitement of tree climbing competitions and to motivate arborist students to improve their tree climbing skills, we will also run a students’ competition. To compete in the students’ competition you must meet the following requirements:

you are currently studying in arborist school or a related educational institution or,
-
you have graduated no earlier than 2023,
-
you have never competed in a tree climbing competition before.
The competition is held according to ISA rules.

Accommodation.
Accommodation is available in the school's hostel or manor house, but the number of rooms is limited. You can find more information in the registration forms.
Of course you can always search for the most suitable accommodation yourself.
Camping site is not far from the competition area with showers available in the school’s facilities. Also, there is a swimming place 1.8 km from the competition area.
